The Blacknut Logotypes

The Blacknut logo is a universal signature we use across all our communications. We want it to be instantly recognizable, so consistency is important—please don’t edit, change, distort, recolor, or reconfigure it.

Horizontal Logotype

Clearspace
In order to preserve the integrity of the Horizontal Logotype, it is important that no other logos, type or other graphic elements infringe on its space. The minimum clearspace to the around the Horizontal Logotype is equivalent to 1/2 of the height of the Glyph.

Smallest size use
The minimum size the Horizontal Logotype may be used for print applications is .6” (15mm) wide. Include the registration mark for this measurement.
For digital applications, the minimum size is 80 pixels wide.

Vertical Logotype

Clearspace
In order to preserve the integrity of the Vertical Logotype, it is important that no other logos, type or other graphic elements infringe on its space. The minimum clearspace to the around the Vertical Logotype is equivalent to 1/3 of the width of the Logotype.

Smallest size use
The minimum size the Vertical Logotype may be used for print applications is .4” (10mm) wide. Include the registration mark for this measurement.
For digital applications, the minimum size is 45 pixels wide.

What not to do with the Logotype

The Blacknut Logotype is a symbol people recognize, so it should never be altered.

Do not

  • Change the spacing between the icon and the word "Blacknut" or its letters
  • Use any colors other than almost Black, or White
  • Choose a different typeface for "Blacknut"
  • Add visual effects like a drop shadow
  • Change or replace the word "Blacknut" in any way
  • Change the shape of the Logotype
  • Use the Logotype in a phrase or sentence
By using Blacknut brand materials, you agree to the Blacknut Terms of Service, these Blacknut branding guidelines, and all Blacknut rules and policies, as may be updated from time to time. You also acknowledge that Blacknut is the sole owner of Blacknut trademarks, promise not to interfere with Blacknut's rights in them, and acknowledge that goodwill derived from their use accrues only to Blacknut. Blacknut may review use of the branding materials at any time and reserves the right to terminate or modify any use.
